We began this morning at Kwahu Praso with a devotional led by Rev Asante.
Assembly and education sessions are underway and as we expected the Ghanaians have put their on views on the education and project management portions.
Rev Asante and George Appah are leading a “highlights” of the 101 project management information with the clinic leadership and several of the water committee members. Poked my head in the room - they are (and will be covering) all those aspects around relationship, community involvement, continuing education, and so forth. They are conducting the session more like a class than a “round table meeting”. George is leading the session as he was trained as a 101 instructor last year.
Rose, Regina & Chalmers have a full class! There are 7 adults and several “benches” of children. The Presby school behind the clinic sent a class of children for the health & hygiene training. Usually, the students would come in the afternoon, but the ladies and clinic staff thought it would be good if the students participated this morning, as well.
The 103 lead, Kennedy (trained last year, and well), is working with the operators for Kwahu Praso to assemble the water treatment system. Of course Michael is looking over Kennedy’s work...pointed out a little while ago that Michael is now “the book”!
Tough to upload photos, so it’s probably going to be Saturday that I post a bunch of photos and a few videos.
